IT's a clinic in pretty much everything I try to teach about picking in one go. Not using too much pressure, pivoting at the wrist to keep a palm mute, etc. Spot freaking on. However, as you mention, it didn't really hit me in the gut in terms of the musicality. I love Yngwie, but this guy is not yngwie. He's fast! To be sure. But there is an almost lifeless quality to his playing somehow?
