I've been using the Axe Fx Ultra since 2008 and a few years ago sold my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and my pedal board to fund my pc.
I am now in a situation where I want to have a light weight solution for playing in a new church. I have a Blackheart Lil Giant (5W amp) that should have enough headroom and I still have an original Marshall Guv'nor I guess I need a delay or two, a chorus, Tremelo and maybe a boost (I could use my volume control though) What are some cheap but solid choices to look at? -------------------- My SoundCloud

Hi mate, there are many options.
Tc Electronics Flashback is one of the best delays out there and there is a mini version. Good chorus + delay: http://truetone.com/v3-series/h20/ If you need anything cheaper, I recommend trying these ones: https://youtu.be/3rREyC44GFY . They also have tremolo and chorus. I have the delay and works great for the money. Regarding more expensive options, you won't get wrong with Strymon pedals: http://www.strymon.net/ And another solution could be this killer one: https://www.eventideaudio.com/products/stom...ct-processor/h9 -------------------- My lessons

The main reason for not using the Axe Fx which I used for years in my old church is to have a cheap set up I can leave in the storage space they have. It's a fairly small church and going direct isn't much of an option here.
As for the cheap processor route I think it's be quite nice to have a simple pedal board just to be different and to tweak on the fly etc. I'm not sure if the 5W lil Giant will have enough headroom for this though so I'm still in the thinking stage. -------------------- My SoundCloud

I don't know what you exactly mean by cheap, but the cheaper stuff is the chinese Joyo, Mooer and Biyand. You should try them first, but there is some good stuff from them. -------------------- My lessons
