Well as far as I understand, its just using your pick to tap rather than your hand. You should be able to practice any normal tapping licks with pick tapping, so I don't really think a lesson is necessary. When I pick tap I tend to flip my pick over so that the flatter "top" end of the pick is whats hitting the string.

Ill give you my opinion on it smile.gif
What you want to do is turn your pick to the side or back (not part that you usally pick strings with ) and tap using the pick just like you would your finger.Do a hammer on or pull off with your fret hand and tap an edge of the pick on the fret board.Using he pick will give you much easier speed but sacrifcie your options of moving around differnt spots quick tongue.gif Hope this helps. If you have another question about it just ask and i will try to answer

Correct smile.gif
You can also you the side of pick if you prefer. Can you tap any with your fingers yet?Just practice on it and you will get it.A good example of a pick tapping solo in my opinion is Metallica's solo in ONE. biggrin.gif tHAT was the first thing i learned to pick tap.So really what you need to know is you can use either part of pick just not the very small part that you use to strike the string.Well maybe some can laugh.gif but ive never seen it done that way

What if you turn the pick like perpendicular to the strings?

Well, you can do that but ideally I'd play it between parallel and perpendicular, you don't want it to hit the other strings. Good luck!
