This will be a big deal for likely the next 2-3 years for Mac users, specially when they become buyers again.

This is just horrible news. They are trying to turn every device they make in to a mobile unit. They are just giving up on the "Pro" segment and going for mobile everything and all the ram/chips will be soldered to the board so no more upgrades of any kind. You get what you get. ARM processors in Macbook pros is coming soon. So if you want a real mackbook with a real processor, get one soon before all you can buy is an overblown tablet with a keyboard tacked on to it. Uggh. They claim support during a two year transition. However, the new ARM macs will have to run EVERYTHING through emulation at first since most apps are coded for INTEL chips!!! Eventually they will get rid of all intel based apps from the store. Won't that be fun.

They are turning all of their MACS in to mobile devices. Uggh.
