18k Youtube Views In 48 Hours? Options

Wow. My first SHORT to reach 18,000 view and the most views ever for a 48 hour period. It's only 16 seconds long. Terrible framing. A really short review of CALL OF DUTY VANGUARD. I just explain that the game is fun but very short. 18k views in 48 hours. The shorts algo is hunting for content so it's a great chance to share some content that could be a "halo" type vid for your other stuff. E.G. a non music vid that ends up driving traffic to your other vids. With shorts, you don't even need good production value. I've been intentionally using bad framing and poor quality audio to see if it makes any difference. It doesn't.

This is the biggest bump on my channel in years and I'm going to be doing more "shorts" gaming content for sure. Gain 38 subs in the last month and 80 hours of view time. All for a video under a minute shot on my cell phone. Shorts are the great equalizer imho. For anyone who wants to gain some youtube traction, here ya go

welcome to the party I have noticed that the algo is hungry content and seems to treat me better on weeks when I put up more videos than on weeks when I put up fewer. Also any engagment seems to give a huge boost. Also, i've had luck with other types of vids like quick game/movie reviews. just trying to get some traction hoping it will halo effect my regular channel
