Hmm suprisingly some of the things said here I actually like lol like Nickelback and Hey There Delilah and the typical rock songs like Hotel California(I really love the song).

Anyways, I really can't stand rap music where all they sing about is woman money drugs and crime, and also I can't bear hearing growls(sorry all growl fan!).

I think hey there delilah is okay, and i'm not sick of it because I don't listen to MTV or anything so i've only heard it once or twice. Hotel California rocks tongue.gif

I still hate nickleback laugh.gif

All good music comes and goes in progressions, I don't listen to the radio much because it's all a bunch of fluff. Rock and Roll is not dead my friends, it's just just in hibernation. It will return to mainstream as in the past, after it has rested. If I ever hear an earfull of rubbish from Fallout Boy, I will violently rebel against society. Brittany Spears lmao--- die wench !! I miss the days of music where guitar players were the driving force and the music brought people together under a common theme of interest. Todays music sucks and I am patiently waiting for the rebirth of rock and roll. When rock is reborn we can have kegger at my house and burn all the pop stars smile.gif

I don't like whiney modern rock like Fall out Boy, Plain White T's, and all those other lame asses. I don't like grindcore, and all that stuff.

But mainly, I don't like music that sounds like they took Lyrics A with Riff B and can call it a song.

And about Rap. NO, hip hop. Consider this, the rock on MTV is not what we consider good music, but thats all that the mainstream media is exposed to in terms of "rock" and all the really talented people are either underground or from the past.

This same rule applies to rap and hip hop. In that respective community, the best rap/hip hop is stuff we've never heard of because we A.) dont care to dig deeper or B.) are just not exposed to it because its all underground.

And despite that, if you think Hip Hop doesn't require talent, go and try it. Its harder than you think.

yeah, i hate the new fall out boy crapola because 1) u cant understand a single thing coming out of his mouth, 2) there guitar solos are like 5 notes long... (Bowling for Soup's "1985"'s solo has 13 notes in it) and 3) its all about missing you, cut myself, missing you in my bed, cut myself, missing us together, cut myself more...

I freakin hate songs like Love Hurts and Hotel California. Oh damn how I hate that crap.

I dont hate the bands at all though, I like them. But I just hate typical songs like that, that you hear EVERYWHERE and ALL the time. Boring piece of crabcake.

4 get it, I was better off keeping my mouth shut.

Yes rock and roll is not dead and it will never die.Actually i like it how it is now,let all the pop and rap garbage stray on top of the radio and mtv.Personally i dont want my style of music so overplayed and having poser's saying they like it just cause it's what they se when they turn on MTV.I like Rock or metal just were it is.Like i said it has never died it has just been in a spot were it's not ruined by the media,it will always be out there just the true fans will know were to find it wink.gif

If it was as commen as rap now a days ,i probably would even listen to something else.I remember when i middle school and i was like one of the few dudes that listened to old Metallica, then all of a sudden everybody was like Master of Puppets is so awesome.Once that happened i almost wanted to stop listening to it,i guess cause i have never been one to go with a trend or popularity.I like to be different and unique. smile.gif

any song that repeats a single sentecne and gets away with being called music.

You would be talking about the lastest Metallica crap they put out; now would you. I couldn't believe the amount of songs that had the same lines repeated. Invisible Kid is the only song title I can name off hand. There are countless song out there that are just horriable.
