Thanks for such a warm welcome. I look forward to this. Yes, I have been looking around here for about a year and half, and just now decide it's time to introduce myself. I have many questions, and I know that I have chosen the right time and place. I don't know where to begin. I think I need to collect my thoughts. Andrew I live on the CT shoreline near the Mohegan Sun Casino. Are you local, that would be cool?

Woa sorry for such a large photo. I thought I made it a little smaller.
Hi Rod.

Hey is that a Martin D-28? If so, that is one incredible acoustic. I've had a D-28 and hands down it's the best sounding acoustic guitar made. I've got a Taylor which is sweet too, but that Martin, especially for flat picking, is #1!

It is not a Martin Acoustic. It is a 40 year old guitar given to me by my brother in law some time ago. It is made by a company called Atlas and has a sticker inside saying it was built in Happauge, New York. I have googled it but have found nothing. I don't think it is the same company that makes Atlas guitars today but I could be wrong. It is a nice guitar and I play it often. Very nice tone but somewhat cheaply built. Thanks for your warm welcome.

We have a tendency to put very little value on something we get for free. That is what I paid for it. But it actually plays quite nicely. Perhaps I will never know.
Cheers!!

Thanks Ron, for the advice. The heat isn't turned on yet. I took out the guitars for a picture, then it's back into the cases, except for the LP, she's my regular girl.
