Let's not talk about collab anymore because you know my sentiment now. I would participate again I would post a final video
What do you think of this take? Stéphane's playing is much more supple and relaxed. I think I will need a few years of practice before being so natural.
I don't know if this take is good or not for REC SECTION. For me it sound good but it's not objective. Old take VS new take.... hum.... Difficult to show a real progress
Also, I get a progress on Shunk Funk I will make a video soon
Old take

Hi mate! Nice to find news from you!
That's a great lesson to work on rhythm and dynamics. I can see that you can change chords very smoothly and that you can keep the rhythm tight during the whole take.
The next step is to get more of those dynamics used by Stephane. He plays softer but manages different levels of dynamics. I would start by trying to play a bit softer that louder parts of your take, does it make sense?
Also, have you worked on Stephane's Funk Workouts?

Hi Gab
I understand what you mean. It’s a job I’m already doing. Yes sometimes I work on funk lesson by S.Lucarelli.
I will continue in that direction, but I must admit that I will stop the lesson for a while. I don’t think I’m gonna be able to improve that take right now.
For my part, it takes a long time to process things. I’ll take that to the REC, and I’ll probably do another one in 2020 or 2021.

I want to focus on Shunk Funk.
Hi mate, that sounds good. If you continue working on other rhythm lessons, your playing will keep improving.
Yes, that's true! But you are doing an amazing job mate! This one is really close. Your phrasing is very fluent and the tone fits very well with the backing track.
Keep on working on dynamics and groove in order to get the most from this lesson.

Hi Gab
Thank you for feedback Yesterday I made a video. With experience, I know that the more I work, the less spontaneous the take will be.
I want to submit to REC in a few days. I would like to know what you think about this one. I don't know if it's better.

Hi MisterM! This take would obviously pass at REC.
I'm not sure if this one is better than the previous take. The elements that can be improved here are Dynamics and Groove. Sometimes you rush a bit tempo, and the faster licks (with palm muting) could be accentuated better.
As I always say, it's good to share takes at REC to receive more feedback from instructors.
Farine54, my french friend help me for create a sound with my DVMARK amp + VST Nadir + Laney impulsion. It's not perfect, because I learn to pick string muted as Jonathan. Some noises to correct
Both lessons are sounding good here. I think that working on those Modal Madness patterns is a good idea for your technique. And that Jazz blues lesson is sounding better and better.
Congrats mate!

Hi Gab
Thx for grading
New daily work - new crush ! - Super Hard Rock Section 7 is very speed, I work with metronome, I feel good
Weekly work (I try 4x per week)
- Modal madness 140 BPM OK I know progress is more important every day This one is very repetitive - the daily work becomes painful
- Silent night Rocker version Speed of the arpeggios is so great that I am a bit demotivated, I work slowly and sometimes faster

Hi Gab
I saw Kris's com It is pretty discouraging to read these things,
I know my guitar level is low. I know I still have a lot of work to do. I work hard to get little. I am not a virtuoso like others. I accept my nature and I agree to work more. I remain humble and hope to become a great guitarist before my death.
Right now, I feel like I’ve crossed a line. I’ve gained confidence.
I don’t think Kris understands how huge my job is every day. I understand his comments but his note is an insult to my work.

Hi mate!
I recommend you to don't take REC take comments as personal. We give feedback based on what we watch and the only objetive is to help you the more possible.
I've read Kris comments and I think that he gave really valuable feedback that I would take! He said that your playing is not sounding relaxed and natural and he suggested to practice at a slower tempo. There is nothing wrong with that, and it doesn't mean that your hard work isn't appreciated. These are suggestions based on the instructor experiences.
We are not virtuosos, we worked really hard for a long time to play like we play, and we are here to share our experiences with you so you can achieve your goals. I wish I had this opportunity when I was in my early days, I still would love to receive feedback from more advanced guitarists!

Hi Gab again :-)
Thank you for your encouragement.
I know my faults, I take your advice. I apply them every day at slow speed. You know better than me that it takes years to build muscle memory and procedural memory. Moreover, this construction is hindered by our bad habits that must be corrected.
The GMC lessons are often very fast which forces us to work hard. GMC moves me forward. It gives me a goal.
Excuse me, I know you worked very hard. What I mean is that some people are relaxed brain and muscle because it’s in their genes. I’m not one of those people, but nothing is impossible with hard work.
PS: Darius rated 8 and his com is very rich
First take Super Hard Rock I'm very nervous because I'm learning. You can hear some mistakes :-/ Speed section is great exercise for me

Yeah! You worked really hard and I notice your progress which is endless! It's a bit difficult to note our own progress while we are focused and practising hard but hard work and the right guidance (mentor's feedback) are the key!
That lesson is on the right track. Keep on practising until you feel more familiar with the rhythms!
Enjoy!

Hi Gab
I have little time right now. I would live in my new house in 10 days. I have a lot of work to do.
I play the guitar very early in the morning, I try to play 40 minutes. I usually play in the morning and in the evening, but right now I’m too tired to do a evening session.
Super Hard Rock : 100% soon, I keep hard work on this one
I’ll update the post later,

Hi Gab
I'm back - At present, I work 14/19 jazz fusion licks 90% speed It is difficult to play seriously since 7/8 days because of the flu virus and a lumbago but today I am better

Hi mate! Great to see you working hard on this one!! I can say that you are doing a killer job. These lines are very tricky to play and memorize, you are on the right track.
Keep going!!

Hi Gab,
Here my daily work since few weeks I changed my strings - I play with 9-42 fender, it's so funny What do you think about it

Hi MisterM! Great job here!
I can see that you are working very hard on these lessons. The first one is getting closer. You just have to be careful with hands sync when playing the faster alternate picking sections, and also with cleanness when playing sweeps. But this is a good take man, the lesson is tricky.
The second one sounds clean and clear, I think that you are ready to try the normal tempo, what do you think?
Here my work I feel better to 100% I need a few days to improve it

Hi MisterM! This feels great!
I think that your tone fits great here, and that your playing is very groovy! It's nice to see how your rhythm skills are getting better!
There are some small details close around 00:59 but the overall is great! I would give this on 8 at REC.
Good use of dynamics.

Hi Gab
I’m glad to hear that. I thought this lesson was impossible. I took my metronome (20 days) - I am proud to have progressed.
I’ll try to make a better video later

Hi Gab
This afternoon I took a break with the house work. I took the gopro and the green background.
I warmed up 15 minutes at the metronome before registering. I made two takes and it looks good
what do you think about it ? REC SECTION ?

Hi mate!
This sounds really good! I've said this before, but it's awesome to see how much your timing skills improved. I can hear that your riffing work sounds groovier and with more dynamics.
The solo section also sounds very good, there are only some small details in the final (faster licks), but you are very close.
Sharing takes at REC is always recommended to receive feedback from different instructors.
