Thanks for this lesson Ben! I really like the 80s vibe of guitar and generally rock music. I know it is a bit soft and all compared to nowadays standards, but the songs were so melodic and had nice vocals and all + guitars solos had their deserved place in the songs
You're exactly right... they knew how to craft songs with hooks that would grab the listener. Their solos were always melodic with just the right amount of flash !

Welcome to my new lesson in the style of Reb Beach!
"Reb Beach (born Richard Earl Beach, Jr. on August 31, 1963) is an American rock guitarist. He is a member of the bands Winger and Whitesnake." - Whitesnake
Reb first came to prominence in the late 80's as the lead guitarist for the metal band Winger. Winger specialised in melodic metal that could perhaps fall under the 'hair' or 'glam' banner as they were mainly positive, upbeat songs about the usual 80's subjects - women, cars, good times etc. Winger were perhaps the most musically proficient of all of the 'hair' bands, with Beach's guitar skills at the forefront of the band's sound.
Reb is known for his catchy riffs, two handed tapping and well crafted solos.
So, with that in mind you will be working on:

-Bending
-Tapping
If you don't learn this lesson you'll definitely be heading for a heartbreak!
