Le Papillon (or La Farfalla) means a butterfly, I play this piece to evoke the feeling of butterflies, with soft touch and lively. Also, I play it in a way to sustain notes a bit at ends of phrases (sostenuto), and to let them to really end before I start the next phrase.

Hello everybody, welcome again to this beautiful piece.

The rhythm is a Vienna Waltz and it characteristic is that the beat 2 is marked. Another typical element of this kind of music are the glissandos and here we have some of them. In this lesson you can improve your right hands arpeggio abilities with the triplets section.
