  • Hello Friends of GMC! Today we will study Paramore’s Particular style! But before that, a bit of information of the band!

At the age of 14, Hayley Williams knew the brothers Farro with who initiated the band. The name of the band comes from the surname of the mother from one from the first members of the band, when they realized that it was sounding like the word paramour they decided to adopt her as name.

These years Jeremy Davis went out of the band for personal reasons, leaving Paramore with 3 members, and the name of the disc "All we know is Falling" was inspired by Jeremy.

Later the band asked him to return, Jeremy agreed, returning to the band in July, 2005. The first song written by all the members titles "Conspiracy" and they put it on his first disc "All we know in falling" (2005) of which threw like firstly simply the song "Pressure", but the song was not successful. The major success of this album was the song "Emergency".

In 2007 they threw his second album Riot! Together with his first single "Hallelujah" in the United Kingdom and "Misery Business" in The United States.

Riot! It is a more mature work, with major quality in sound and in letters, is up to the date the most successful for them, taking part in a joint tour with Jimmy Eat World and in the Warped Tour, his reputation increased in the rest of the world, realizing a new tour, The Final Riot! And publishing "CrushCrushCrush" and "That's What You Get".

In 2008 they recorded two songs for the sonorous band of the movie "Twilight" qualified "Decode" and "I caught myself".

This lesson is based in the song "Misery business" it is one of my favorite’s songs because it is the most complete for the study of Paramore style.

In this lesson the guitars are the principal thing; the arrangements of octaves are often used in this style.

    The tuning is very particular:

    1: D# 4: C#
    2: A# 5: G#
    3: F# 6: C#

The study of this band is very important to create your own songs in this style. We'll use some techniques as Palm muting and down picking in this lesson.

Audio Settings: to record this lesson I have used the POD X3 live.
Analog Chorus: Depth 66% Mix: 35%
Analog Delay with modulation: 413ms Mix: 43% feedback: 43%

Nothing is impossible! Feel the music and God bless you!

PS: If you use standard tunning you can jam with this scale over this lesson.
