Grrrrrroooooovyyy:)
I love Guitar and Base work together...In many bands base is just a background instrument...I love it when Flea and John go jamming !
Great soloing, David! Thanks.
Sometimes while improvising it is best to first set the guitar down and listen to the other instruments. In this lesson we'll focus on the bass to give us ideas. The backing track will alternate between a Dm7 and Em7 chord. We'll use the minor pentatonic scale over these.
You'll notice that each other measure starts with the riff played on bass. This helps the improvisation sound more organized. Every lick is very usable in many different musical situations. Pay attention to the rhythm placement and watch your tempo.
Practice well!
