Arpeggio pattern, Matteo Carcassi, Thumb and fingers, Fingerstyle, Conservatory, Classical piece, Counterpoint, Nylon, Admission, Romantic, Italian, Chord melody, D Major
Hi, GMC! This is the 12th Study by Carcassi in D major. It is a peaceful sounding arpeggio study. The arpeggio pattern is p-m-i-p, a thumb and two fingers.
If you want to brush up your picking skills using a pick, this piece will be a good sweeping exercise.
The piece mostly consists of three note chords, and will be a good exercise for left hand shifting, too.
