Hello GMC!
-Today we are going to randomize a little our approach to playing lines. You will utilize all the knowledge from previous lessons and learn some patterns which will help you keep your lines interesting! Backing is jazzy and you are playing 4 feel walking bass line!
-You will learn different patterns which will utilize some fingerings that you are maybe not so used to playing. This is mainly an exercise lessons to learn those patterns. You will encounter same patterns over major7, minor7 and dominant7 chords! Also while learning how to randomize your lines, you will be practicing left hand fingering and right hand alternate finger picking!
-This lesson is in the key of G major.
-Key: G
-Tempo: 120 bpm
-Time signature: 4/4
-Tuning: standard
-Difficulty: beginner/intermediate
Equipment I used for getting this sound was: Peavey Cirrus bass with active soapbar pickups, equal mix of both of them with added treble and middle on onboard eq - then going to the nemesis (eden) amp with a 1x15" and slightly added bass and treble there (at 1 o'clock position).
Feel free to ask me any questions in the lesson feedback and in my instructor board at forum.
Enjoy and I hope you'll have a lot of fun randomizing in this one!
