Gerardo: you're right. I normally use thin picks with the acoustic guitar but for this lesson I wanted to show the sound produced by the index finger.
Hisham Al-Sanea22nd January 2008good job jerry nice riff
Gerardo Siere22nd January 2008really nice and jazzy sound, one thing that has it own flavor is trying on acoustic rythm guitar (specialy for balads) is using a realy thin pike like 0.48 mm or so.

Hello GMC! I made this lesson to show you another idea for strumming. When I started to write this lesson I found that I didn't like the sound of the pick attack. So... I've recorded the lesson without the pick.
My right index finger does the work: with the fingernail I play the downstrokes and with the fingertip I play the upstrokes.
You can find the Guitar Pro file with chord diagram, as usual.
A little suggestion: if you have some experience with rhythm guitar, try to find the strumming pattern by ear. If you are able to do this, you've made a BIG step in your musical training.
Key: A major
Time signature: 4/4
Tempo: 96 bpm
