Kosei Kubota28th December 2007If you are interested in reading music, vinod's sight-reading course will be helpful.
Gosh, there are so many great stuff to learn on this site!

gkane1928th December 2007Well damn copyright laws... Naw I don't read music, unfortunitly am still quite new at guitar, only been playing for about 8-9 months nd only been playin classical for half of that but with you nd Ben N nd all the rest of the classical instructors am comming along quite well.
I do know some people that read music though and one said she could translate it into guitar tab pro for me if i gave her afew days so I think I might actually pick up a copy from that link.
thanx again for the help

Hi Kosei, First let me say thank you, you've taught me so many amazing songs through this site! I've been so inspired (and also because its Christmas) I've managed to aquire a classical guitar to play the music I've learned here with.
I went to your youtube page and was incredibly impressed with what I saw. I've watched most of your videos and although their all amazing I have to say my favorite is Xodó da Baiana by Dilermando Reis (such a jazzy little spanish number)
My question is (once you've completed bachs prelude here, another one I'm learning by the way) would you ever consider creating a lesson for Xodó da Baiana?
Thanx again Graeme
Hello!
Congrats on your new guitar.
And thank you for watching my videos and your kind comment.
I love Dilermando Reis' music so much that I have made play-list of Reis pieces on You Tube.
I have always wanted to show them here on GMC.
But unfortunately, his music is still under copyright and we can't show them.
There is no TABs, but if you read music, it is published by GSP.

This is so beautiful and nice sounding, I was wondering though, I notice in video 2 for example you play C arpeggioes, but unlike electric guitar, you fret the entire chord, instead of fretting each note individually with the left-hand. That is correct method right?
I have never thought about that difference, but it is a good point!
When playing acoustic guitar (or clear sounding electric guitar), you want to sustain the notes so that each note of a chord overlaps together. On the other hand, you don't want to overlap notes on the distorted sounding guitar, unless you are playing power chords.
That's why.
