I got the same amp as you hehe, Marshall valvestate v8080 !!!!! Maybe with a buncha practice i can sound smooooth like you too
very nice
damn i can listen too this over and over. impressive
Great sweeps Gabriel,good job!
Thats great thanks Gabi. Ive really picked this peice of music up in no time - so all these lessons your doing must be really helping eh !
Hi Matt. The left hand movement should be very fast to make this lesson smoothy. I put my index finger in position (fret 5) but I play fret 8 with my pinky.
HI Gabi,
im getting on with lesson fine accept the last lick from part 3. Im unsure how to swap from lick 3 to lick 4 smoothy! Are you just useing your index finger to bar fret 5 and useing your pinky?
I agree with you... it should be the wood and the pick ups.
I use a gibson SG hehe, Something about it that gives this neoclassical stuff an extra boost
Wow great lesson. I really like it, but in vid 4 it'd be alot less confusing if you put like a space between each phrase because you really have to look close to get it. Still really like nece thing to add to my repatwar:)
Hi beebo! When you are practicing at slow tempos you don't have to slide but when you play this kind of licks fast maybe it seams to have slides.
Gabriel Nice Lesson!
But I'm having a problem with section 4!
Any help?
p.s. I'm having trouble because in the vid to me it looks like ur sliding (the main vid) and should I slide when I come back to the e string to change notes or no? (try not to get confused)
lol
.....just great!
Hi guys sorry it's been a while since I've been
on GMC! Hope to get back in the game ASAP!
Beebo.
Thanks Boris and Anirudh!!
wow i love the sound of this.
Great job Gabriel.
awesome lesson!!!!!!!!
sb81: I'm using my old Marshall Valvestate mod 8080. It's very important to get a warm sound for this king of stuff.
I used a sm 57 mic and a beringer pre to record the guitar. Then I added Waves plug in Reverb.
Yea sweeping!!
Thank you Norven! I'll fix it.
There is an error in vid 5.

I smell some Yngwie in this, I think it was just great too!!!
Really Impressive, beautiful tone also !
Very nice sounding tune! Good job! Sounds like a good intro to neoclassical shred song!
