Sound

8 A Few years ago when i heard of this band and picked up there demo, now discontinued, but soon to be released with more songs and as a full length album, i was floored with this band. The sound is very heavy, full of fast and brutal riffs, and haunting acoustic work like in the song "Blood Drops In Heaven" (Blood Drops In Heaven is not on the demo, but is too be released on the album, check out there Myspace, but with the diversity of an Opeth album. A song can start off with heavy and fast guitar work and end up in an flamenco style guitar interlude, into a cool jazzy or bluesy solo. Its superb!

Guitar

9 Like i said before, very diverse. There guitarists prove to be more than competent players with a great understanding of many different genres. They throw the signature trem picked riffs of Death Metal at you then they will play you Spanish style guitar solo, or maybe some jazz? how about some blues? While these elements aren't there main focus, they show up enough to keep you interested. The riffs, especially in the song "Severance", coupled with the overall feel of the song will induce a berserker like fury upon you. There is an underlying rage and atmosphere of almost a "Break Free Of Oppression" kinda feel to the guitars.

Bass

7 While most of time its the standard follow the guitar, there are a select few sections of songs, where the bass shines out as the pre-dominant instrument. Subtle is an understatement for the bass here. but since this is a demo from a band with (at the time) no record deal, i didn't expect virtuosity, and i hope they will improve upon this for the upcoming release. Too much potential i think is being lost.

Drums

8 For some reason, i love the drums on this demo. There not overtly technical or complex, but the drummer has this approach to the playing style that just makes me smile and bang my head ever faster. Maybe its the grooves or the low produced and deep tone, but i find the drums very enjoyable. If you like the Thrash/ Death Metal style of drumming, you should love this.

Vocals

9 Sargon has got to be one of the most unique vocalists in the metal scene right now. His growling style is unlike any other ive ever heard, maybe its his french accent, or his ability to go from really low devil-possesses growls to higher fast paced growls that storm by as quick as the guitars and are quite reminiscent of Black Metal, or his clean vocals that are almost hypnotic as they remain in a whisper in the background, or even the fact that he occasionally sings in french which produces quite the unique effect. Whatever the reason may be, He covers his style well, from clean whisper like vocals, to death or black metal, its all there.
