Ananthema - Born in 1990 from the town of Liverpool as a doom metal band. Anathema, Paradise Lost and My Dying Bride has been credited to developing the death/doom genre of music. Originally the band toured under the name of Pagan Angel and recorded their first demo called 'An Illiad of Woes'.
