7 Like in the previous review, the guitars are simple and basic, most songs based off of a single chord progression or melody. Although simple in its form, its amazing in its execution, There riffs are always catchy, they always meld with the rest of the song in a harmonious fashion. Fun Stuff!

8 I give the bass an 8 simply because i love the sound of it on this album, it sounds live almost, and i makes the guitars sound heavier. Keep in mind it is most certainly not revolutionary or groundbreaking, nor was it intended to be, Like the guitars, Simple and basic, great execution, and amazingly fun stuff.

7 Misfits always seem to have a drummer with a good sense for a cool groove. While not the most amazing, or technical or anything like that, I Think you should view this band as a band that you listen to when your in a good mood and you just wanna hear something you can bang your head to and sing along to. Arthur Googy's drums sure do help with this.

9 On this album, Misfits have there original singer, Glenn Danzig, which Metal fans might know him from his solo career "Danzig". His voice, on all his recording, from early Misfits, to His solo work, has always had an extremely dark and evil vibe to it, one of the most unique voices heard throughout Punk and Metal, if you dont know what im talking about, think about a song called "Mother", most people have heard it because its on tons of movies and videogames, anyway, A Haunting, Evil, Omnious, Angel Fallen From Heaven voice graces this album.

Sound

8 The fact that this band was on a small and limited budget certainly shows on this album, But in a good way, the sound is under produced, Raw and intense!

Guitar

7 Like in the previous review, the guitars are simple and basic, most songs based off of a single chord progression or melody. Although simple in its form, its amazing in its execution, There riffs are always catchy, they always meld with the rest of the song in a harmonious fashion. Fun Stuff!

Bass

8 I give the bass an 8 simply because i love the sound of it on this album, it sounds live almost, and i makes the guitars sound heavier. Keep in mind it is most certainly not revolutionary or groundbreaking, nor was it intended to be, Like the guitars, Simple and basic, great execution, and amazingly fun stuff.

Drums

7 Misfits always seem to have a drummer with a good sense for a cool groove. While not the most amazing, or technical or anything like that, I Think you should view this band as a band that you listen to when your in a good mood and you just wanna hear something you can bang your head to and sing along to. Arthur Googy's drums sure do help with this.

Vocals

Lyrics

9 With titles like "Braineaters". "I Turned Into A Martian", "Astro Zombies", and "Mommy Can I Go Out And Kill Tonight", you know your getting something different

From "I Turned Into A Martian"

possession of the mind is a terrible thing
it's a transformation with an urge to kill
not the body of a man from earth
not the face of the one you love,
'cause well, i turned into a martian
i can't even recall my name
times i never hardly sleep at night
well, i turned into a martian

today i walk down city streets
on an unsuspecting human world
in your midst this world is mine to own,
'cause well, i turned into a martian
well, i can't even recall my name
times i never hardly sleep at night
well, i turned into a martian today
well, i turned into a martian woah
i can't even recall my name woah
times i never hardly sleep at night
Iturned into a martian
can't even recall my name

From "Braineaters" (This couldn't possibly be about Zombies could it!?!!)

Hey hey hey
Brains for dinner
Brains for lunch
Brains for breakfast
Brains for brunch
Brains at every single meal
Why can't we have some guts
Hey hey hey
Brains are all we ever get
In this rotten f*****' place, hey hey
Brains are all we ever get
Why can't we have a change of pace
Brains for dinner
Brains for lunch
Brains for breakfast
Brains for brunch
Brains at every single meal
Why can't we have some guts, hey hey
Why can't we have some guts, hey hey
Why can't we have some f****** rotten guts
Hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey

From "Vampira"

Hey
Black dress moves in a blue movie
Graverobbers from outer space
Your pulmonary trembles in your outstretched arm
Tremble so wicked
Two inch nails
Micro waist
With a pale white feline face
Inclination eyebrows to there
Mistress to the horror kid
Cemetery of the white love ghoul, well Take off your shabby dress
Come and lay beside me
Come a little bit closer
Come a little bit closer
Come a little bit closer
Come a little bit closer to this
Vampira, Vampira, Vampira

From "Astro Zombies"

Oh, all I want to know
All I want
With just a touch of my burning hand
I send my astro zombies to rape this land
Prime directive, exterminate
The whole human race

And your face drops in a pile of flesh
And then your heart, heart pounds
Till it pumps in death
Prime directive, exterminate
Whatever stands left
All I wanted to say
And all I gotta do
Who'd I do this for
Hey, me or you

And all I wanted to say
And all I gotta do
Who'd I do this for
Hey, me or you
Oh, all I want to know
All I want
With just a touch of my burning hand
I'm gonna live my life to destroy your world
Prime directive, exterminate
The whole f****** race
Then your face drops in a pile of flesh
And then your heart, heart pounds
And it pumps in death
Prime directive, exterminate
The whole f***** place well
All I wanted to say
And all I gotta do
Who'd I do this for
Hey, me or you
And all I wanted to say
And all I gotta do
Who'd I do this for
Hey, me or you
Oh, all I want to know
All I want to know
All I want to know
All I want oh
Go
