Lately there have been some Folk and Jazz influences in Opeth's music. The music varies between fast deathmetal parts with blastbeat-drums and growling and slow accoustic parts with clean vocals. Arch Enemy

Arch Enemy is a Metal band from Sweden that was formed by brothers Michael and Christopher Amott and bassist/singer John Liiva in 1996. With both Michael Amott and John Liiva coming from successfull Death Metal bands they attempted to go a more melodic way with Arch Enemy. The most remarkable thing about Arch Enemy is the female vocalist Angela Gossow because female gutural growling singers are rarely seen.

AC/DC is a rock band formed in Sydney, Australia by Angus and Malcolm Young in 1973. AC/DC are considered pioneers of hard rock and heavy metal they consider themselves rock n roll.

AC/DC got their name from their sister Margret's sewing machine. "AC/DC" is an abbreviation for "alternating current/direct current", which indicates that an electrical device can use either type of power. Angus and Malcolm felt this symbolized the bands energy, performances, and love for music so they kept the name. Metallica was officially founded on the 28th of October 1981 in Los Angeles,California by rythm-guitarist and and singer James Hetfield and drummer and former tennis-pro Lars Ulrich. The name Metallica was meant to be the name of an underground Metal-Fan-Magazine but was stolen by Lars Ulrich to use it as the name for his band.
