In the 4 weeks the competition lasts you'll have to make/record a full song with backing. Drums, Bass, Rhythm Guitar, Solo Guitar and other instruments if you feel the backing needs it. No video necessary, but a cool touch if you choose to make one. This competition will be decided by an open poll, so all GMC members can vote. So the better the quality of the recording, playing and composition, the better are your chances!

The moment we all expected is finally here, MTP Open Season, starting NOW!

For the newcomers out there, the MTP is a GMC based program which makes the learning experience much more personal, by assigning students a certain instructor to help them develop their techniques & achieve their goals. You can read about the details here

Community Coordinator Chris Evans just announced in our forums that the program is now open for everyone willing to join. All you need to do is post a video showing your skills, and the instructor of your choice.

The video will serve two purposes:

  • Show the mentor your current playing level/ability so he knows where your strengths and weakness`s are
  • Demonstrate that you are able to produce video for the duration of the program.
