Beautiful!! I would love to learn this and post my take.
Ama$@#$@#zing!!! omfing god!!!!!
woow ..if this is really level 4 ..i should just really quit
Fuc#ing AMAZING....if the guitar world community saw this, Kristofer, you would have a million subscribers....
It's been 3 months since i joined this website, and I keep watching this, at least once a week, to remind me of what can be done on this beautiful instrument. Well done Marcus and Kris....Gods in my book :-) haha
2:25-2:27 very Mr. Friedman in my opinion
Great Music Guys
Unbelievable....you are both gods of the Guitar!!!
YESSSSS !!! Found it and it sounds great !!!
Man this song is addictive !! Each time I discover new things in it. Nor Vai nor Satch could have done this better. Really !!!!
Thanks Nikeman!! =)
Marcus used Pod XT for both our guitars - use the search and I think you can find his pod patch if you have the pod and want to go for the same sound.
Hey Kris & Marcus,
My God, what a beautiful piece of music this is !!!!!!! I can listen to it a thousand times and still get the chills as if it was the first. Wish I could play like that !! Also, the sound of the white strat is superb for this song. How did you record this ??????? Anyway, awesome song, awesome performed. You guys are BIG, and a real inspiration for students like me. Thank you for that !!!!!!
i will put it level 5 as well xD
im with Young guitarrist!
this song is amazing!
monsters!
Still an wonderful tune!!! Difficulty 4 is way underrated I think To be able to play full song, it's between 6 or 7 I'd say
This has to be the most beautiful thing ive ever heard. Seriously. This is beyond inspiration. This makes me just want to pick up the guitar and cry at the same time. Just simply amazing! Good job Marcus and Kris! When it was done I just stood up from my chair and applauded. If you could make this like a single CD or something, id gladly buy it. Beautiful.
AWESOME!!! ofcourse I had already heard this tune a long time ago, but a comment is never to late The only negative point... lvl4? that's underrated
Great one guys!!
an awesome masterpiece I downloaded it right after I heard it and I have heard it mininum 10 times in a row now
This is absolutely amazing ! However I believe the difficulty level can be misleading...
Wonderful song !
im learning it now
Hey Marcus and Kris!
Im new at GMC and has just put a practise routine together. I gotta tell you, this song is soooo awesome, sooo sweet. Im beginner/intermediate and want to practise my bends/vibrato, and this song has got to be just right for that. I noticed that you sometimes make the bends go downward, even on the third string, which could easily be bend upward (actually you bend both up and down on the third string). So I was wondering if there are any advantages of bending downward compared to upward, and if so when to do which? Hope it makes sense
thx for a very cool song
OMG, you have given me goose bumps guys, how much feeling and expressiveness, you almost made me cry. No no, men don't cry.
Awesome really. I'll try in 1 or 2 years when I know how to play guitar
i'm speechless great job
Thanks all
Make sure to check out our "studio jam version" of this song at:
youtube.com/kmcmetal
Still awesome!!!
awesome!! very melodic and dramatic - thats how i like it!!
it is very helpful to have a long solo to learn and study. you can hear the tension building up and learn how to build long solos!
give us more of this!!
bone chilling
Thank you guys!
i cant get enough of this song it rockssssss
Wow i can't believe i havn't seen this lesson yet it's so sick it blows my mind

Awesome composition guys, I'm going to start practicing this tomorrow, can't believe I missed it when it came out
Thank you all for your comments! We're glad that you like it
Just have to agree with everyone else, this really is a killer song. Almost makes me weep god damnit!
Sjukt bra jobbat Kristofer och Marcus. Sverige levererar!
As usual guys...amazing. Good to see Kris has some soloing duties on this one, and Marcus, man, as usual I bow to you...great one guys.
absolutly beautiful nice sounding stuff!!!!!
Haha this is awesome, could well be top of my itunes play count before long! Brilliant lesson, there's some really cool techniques in here, especially the whammy bar stuff and might have to check out some more of those blues licks.
I love the way the guitar pro version can't handle kris' legato section! Excellent stuff guys, keep them coming please
OK ! Im back to watch this awsome video AGAIN!
Kris and Marcus you both take my breath away here! Just awsome, I cant wait to finish my current lessons and get started here
Thank you Lester!
Yes it's amazing how music (even instrumental songs) can affect our feeling in such way!
this is a really nice song, I just keep listening to it!!
it has such a feel, such a expression it makes me feel all emotional, and when you can express such feelings in a song, you are a godd musician...
and you both are!!
great job!!
@ chmilew
Congrats on learning it up to video #12
About the sweeping part. Yes, practice very slowly at first and make sure you get the technique 100% right. It's also a good idea to do the other sweeping lessons here. I think there's a beginners lesson from Pavel (just do a search at the main page).
KMC = Kris & Marcus Collaboration
Oh maybe KMC is just an analogy with GMC..
( Ok, i should keep silent and just learn the lesson now )
Hi Kris and Marcus !
I practice the whole song for two days now and i'm at the video number 12.
The thing that i can't do is the little sweeping part. So How can i do improve my sweeping skill (wich is very bad..) ? Should i practice it slowly with a metronom or maybe should i learn a sweeping lesson for beginners (which one ?) before i attack this one ?
Another question What means KMC ??
(K is for Kris, M for Marcus, i guess but for whom is the C ??)
All I can say is that your vibrato is kick ass.......
just now noticed this........... WOW! kmc-metals greatest piece of work so far IMO, This is incredbly good!
how do u 2 come up with something like this?
even when i try, it doesnt come like this...
but i will try harder cos of it!!
I think Nocturnal Vision literally just gave me Asthma.
I can't even begin to speak, let alone take a mouthful of air.
I've listened to this for awhile, but thought I'd comment now.
This is amazing and I now need to get an Inhaler
*Puff*
I really want this cd...
Is it coming out? Like for sure?
GREAT:D EPIC...
Thanks again for all the fantastic comments that keep coming - I agree that by combining our strengths I think Marcus and I achieved something which we wouldn't have done on our own. So I am really excited to work on more instrumentals with KMC Metal!
Thanks again for your support, which is what keep us going!
Thank you Joel!
It's always a pleasure reading your comments.
Marcus and Kris,
This is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. What a fantastic song. You're both incredible musicians and though I can't even begin to play this, it is because of you 2 guys that I don't give up.
(Strange as that sounds) Usually, when someone hears guys like you play they think "Why bother, I'll never get that good." But you both inspire me to keep at it despite that.
Separately, you are both amazing. Together, you could take the world by storm. Rock on and thanks for sharing your talent and for inspiring new players such as myself to keep at it.
Joel
Thank you lliber, Exitus & Pi38! Your comments are very appreciated
@ Pi38
You can post as many times as you like!
Sorry for posting three times, but I just cannot stress enough how awesome this is. I've listened to it, over and over, but it never gets old or boring. Kris, Marcus, you two work so perfectly together. This is truly a magnificent work, and as I said before, in my opinion, the best song you two have put together yet. This is just incredible.
Thats so amazing... I cant say more..
So much feeling..
Marcus! Kris!
Make more of those songs and give an conzert in sweeden.

You can download our PODxt presets here
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=14734
Seeing this on video made it even better. Just awesome how you both switch your soloing. Simply amazing. You are THE metal soloing Dream Team.
The lesson is great but i will have to wait about 5 years to be able to play such stuff
But continue to make lessons on your songs, thats something unique in the WWW.
Thanks Adel!
It's because I get a different tone when using the neck pickup, which I like better for certain licks (or notes).
Awesome Lesson!
Marcus, why are you always switching your pickup if you play faster things ?
Thank you all!
@ Darfuria & EGMONT 1963
Both me and Kris use a PODxt in this lesson. I'll upload the presets in the forum a.s.a.p.

In fact, if you fancy covering how you achived that sound with your Strat, I would be most appreciative.
Wow... what a fantastic piece. Everything is so in context with everything else. The guitars sound perfect. I don't think I have ever been more envious of a Strat sound. Fantastic job guys. Really, fantastic.
You know in Norway, the first a kid learns, is that Swedish people is stupid:P Well, i wanna show this to all to prove theyre not!
Awesome! This is great! We want more of this kind!
Wow! Kris, Marcus, I've been hearing this amazing tune a couple of times now, and it blows my mind everytime! The 25th of april will be GMC history from now on, as this is one of the best - if not the best - tune to reach the screen so far. 25th of april - Nocturnal Vision day, add that to the wiki

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=14251
OMG this is truly amazing ! I'm speechless ..These solos are so beautiful...So much emotions...And all that in a great lesson to learn!! Great job Kris n Marcus!
omg.... straight genious... where can i download this?
Thanks so much!!
Your awesome support will make us work harder than ever to keep delivering - thanks again!
Marcus, when you show what you're playing from above on video 5, it's cool how you swivel the chair so the camera can see your fingers when you get to the lower frets.
Wonderful job guys
Remember us when you guys go and tour all over the world. This is sick!!!!!!!
Counted 61 doing this lesson at this time, Marcus S. had 64 once when I counted. Highest counts I have seen. After several views, I find Marcus L's linear lines (and the tapping on the held vibrato at end) interesting, and the way Kris blends sweeps with AP, so the sweeps are more integrated in the play, don't stand out as "in your face" sweeps. Which is not bad.
Awesome, simply awesome
VeRy Tasty indeed! Great inspiration!
That's cool beyond words, amazing job guys!!
This is beautiful Kris and Marcus!! Everytime that I hear something of you I want the cd more! You have to record all this great stuff in an album.

SnesE - the message in my playing is probably the feelings and sensations life gives me. (That's why I am careful not to record when being hungry! )

Thanks guys! And thanks Kris for learning me those tricks to get the "tremolo vibrating" (you explain it very well in part 1). That was new techniques for me, and I find them really useful!
Awsome guys, great job on everything from start to end its a real pleaser.
Awesome Marcus and Kris! Congratulations
Great job on this guys, I LOVE IT!
@ Marcus' part - your spacy licks are absolute killer and your ending shred so dramatic. Also, the way you twist a simple melody with your vibrato and bending is beyond cool - thanks for the inspiration!
