Hey all. I am playing around with a song idea which I have uploaded a portion below. I have no idea how to do drums or create beats. Any suggestions on samples, or any free drum software?
I see in older posts people mention EZDrummer. Is that still what everyone uses? Thanks. 80sMelody.mp3 ( 1.59MB ) Number of downloads: 96 |

Check this guy out. I'm also in same boat and I've download this.
EZ drummer cost some bucks but looks good cause it has already made drum loops. |

Gotta love EZD. I use it myself. Good alt to SD. It costs a lot.

Steven Slate Drums, absolutely love them. $100 gets you the base package (SSD EX) and that alone has a ton of options, with many expansions available to it. They have many signature kits from Mike Portnoy, Lars Ulrich, Vinnie Paul, John Bonham, and many more. |

EZDrummer is very good, if you can buy it, buy it. It is compatible with GM maps, not always, but usually, so it will play any MIDI with minimum editing.
It sounds good for pilot projects, you don't need to tweak it a lot (lowering down hihat and room channels is usually enough). -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
