I can't see it being very good myself, be nice if they prove me wrong.

My guess is it contains a newer-gen speaker and amp, the ones most popular on jbl products.

So the poweramp is likely clean in-design but colored by tubes (meaning not typical guitar amp). I can't see an ir cab. selection button so the speaker may be their design or cab. ir is selected by USB.

For stage it seems to be designed for self monitoring and depends on a PA system. Even small clubs has a PA system these days so can't say its a terrible idea but I don't think musicians will accept that limitation. The price is too extreme.

A powered Kemper profiler head (the benchmark) is $2600 US.

did you notice the price? The carbon unit is $3k. For a stomp unit with a built in speaker and no audio demos available. It would need to be twice as good as a kemper for that price. Interesting to watch but I hope they sell a few and get the price down a bit.
