Hello guys!! Welcome to my new collaboration! This time I will share a backing inspired in Neoclassical Power Metal bands like Stratovarius and Sonata Artica. This is an audio collab, so everybody that has the possibility to record audio can join.
This backing is in E minor but you have to alternate between the scales E minor aeolian and E hamonic minor. The chord progression is: E5 - E (+5) - B5 C5 - D5 - G D/F# - E5 - D5 C5 - D5 - B5 You can use E minor all the time excepting when the chord B5 is sounding. There you have to use E harmonic minor. Deadline: May 3rd. (14 days) Who is in? This post has been edited by Gabriel Leopardi: Apr 19 2012, 05:36 PM -------------------- My lessons

Final take! As we talked in my thread I did change those notes around to fit better into the transition. I ended up playing the whole part differently and look forward to your thoughts on it. I like it better myself, although one note was muted near the end of the run.
