Hello Guys And Gals! |
Anyway, I've been trying to learn for about the last 2 years, and know just enough to play pieces and parts of some songs sloppily. 
I would really benefit from actual professional lessons, but have not been able to afford them, so I do what I can by watching youtube and frequenting online learning sites. I belong to several forums for guitarists, and enjoy making friends/acquaintances with folks that share my passion to learn and play music. I don't aspire to "make it big", but do want to be a part of a local band one day before I die. 
Thrash Metal (Metallica, Megadeth, etc.) is my favorite genre, and my favorite band overall happens to be a grunge band (Alice in Chains). I live in a small town in Arkansas, so it would be especially nice to meet others from my area. I look forward to engaging in conversation with everyone, and hope I can contribute positively to this forum. Cheers!
