Hi Laurent! Welcome to your thread for Gab's Army!
Here I'll share some info about you to have it as reference: Influences: BB king, joe pass, Slash, dave mustaine ,Mikael Åkerfeldt (opeth), eric johnson, bucket head, dimebag diamond darrell, Daniel Gildenlöw (pain of salvation), al pitrelli, and many jazz guitarist Theory Knowledge: scale construction, intervals, chords construction , i can analyse music metrics, ihave a lot to learn, as i have said i started to learn this in september You said that you have around 3 hours per day for practice so you'll be able to work on technique and improvisation stuff as well as learn licks based on your favorite players. During this first week I would suggest a routine based on the things I think you should work more on your own improvisations. I refer to dynamics, vibrato, alternate picking and phrasing. Technique work: (1:30 hour) Bending: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/String-Bending/ Dynamics: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/writing_a_solo_dynamics/ Alternate picking: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...ernate-workout/ Improvisation: (1:30) - Start working on the improvisation course: LINK - Choose a lesson from GMC archive based on a guitarist that you like. Learn the licks, practice them over the backing, create variations, combine them with your own improvisations, record yourself and share your recordings here. These lessons are my suggestions but you can replace any of them if you find another one that fits more which what you'd like to learn. Please share your thoughts! Hi
you"ll can listen some parts soon !!!!! so as i can't have a backtrack, i'll do everything by myself, as i'll do for "faith in the other" , i have found a new way to play it with two guitars, the tittle is now well known, i'll record a demo soon !!! Pale communion is placed between damnation and ghost reveries. i have buyed a double book with damnation and deliverance in standart CD format, and provided with two DVD in Hires audio version of the both albums, listen it in 192Khz float lostless format with a 192 Khz audio card, is awesome !!!! i'll share some parts i'll record maybe tonight ! edit: i have done a try with two track, without timing base it's a bit weird. at the end, i do a big distorded chord...... i'm sorry !!! https://soundcloud.com/laurent-377054242/opeth-test-2 edit: a try with the backtrack and voice, can't stop to do errors.... maybe tired but still have timing issues..... not an easy tittle to play [attachment=44016:opeth_test_3.mp3] Cheers Laurent This post has been edited by fzalfa: Feb 11 2016, 12:25 AM -------------------- |
