Lately I've been digging Kansas music.
I love their Progressive Rock music with Bluesy solos. Untill like a couple of weeks ago, I must admit I thought Kansas was just a Folk Band, because I had only Heard "Dust in the wind" Their Singer Steve Walsh has such a Powerful Tenor voice. Here are some of my Favorite Songs from them. The Pinnacle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZzLPf_zyKk...feature=related Can I tell you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvkiq0D0HUQ...feature=related and of course the classic song everyone knows Carry on wayward son https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CB17uWuBrL0...feature=related This post has been edited by Slammer: May 12 2008, 10:11 PM |

Gen showed them to me a few days ago, and I really like it. Haven't heard much though, but what I heard has only been amazing.

Kansas is an awesome band indeed, here are some more videos from
their recent stuff : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxJuiBhvuAY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cThU6B6hdMg The quality is better on the album of course -------------------- "Fact is, nothing in the world bores me more than gear...If I played thru your rig, I would still sound like me. Van Halen would sound like Van Halen. Brian May...etc. Very early in my career I decided to focus on creating music and not being a guitar tech. Being a good guitar tech is a very different and extremely difficult job, so why not leave it to a pro?"
Marty Friedman - Guitars: ESP LTD viper-500, a fake strat and an acoustic guitar( dont know the brand) Amp: Randall RX20R Effects: Boss mt 2 distortion pedal, Line 6 pod floor plus |

Even though theyre not my style I like them a lot. Which makes them really good, by the way.
-------------------- I spelled my username wrong...I didn't even think that was possible!
Look at the topic for my guitar... Finished Guitar Build Gear: Homemade strat (You still need to look at its topic!) Squier strat (probably going to get rid of it and get another guitar instead) :) Line 6 spider amp (not actually used for anything, just acts as a speaker) Digitech Gnx2 (kind of old, but cheap, and sounds amazing!) |
