Anybody have any experience with these guitars? I have heard they are of better quality than the Epi's. Made in Korea and with the newer model Epiphones being made in China, who knows.. laugh.gif

Have a chance to pick one up pretty cheap. 150.00/ They sell new for a tic over 200.00 blink.gif

Here's the spec's:

The guitar I'm looking at:

Got to hand it to Gibson. Much fuller and thick sound, the Agile sounded kind of thin. I think that can be blamed on the pickups alone so with a better set it's a real winner for sure. And the price $150 sounds like a bargain.

the PRS copy looks nice http://www.rondomusic.com/ps924.html biggrin.gif

Your right Micke. The guy who is selling this one changed the pickups to a set of Dimarzio SD's. Still on the fence though. Trying to get him to trade for an old Korean made Jackson I have.

so 150 bucks for the guitar including Dimarzio pickups? When I got my one superdistortion here in Sweden that alone costed about $100 - for one SD pu.

You better grab that baby before it's too late then laugh.gif It's so cheap could it be hoax??? I don't know the site myself.

laugh.gif I know. This is actually a local selling the guitar on Craigslist. He's about 2 hours east of me so can't zip over and play it. If it is what he says it is, then I'm on it! smile.gif Waiting for an email with a few more pics atm.

Well in that youtube clip Gibson sounds better (more rich sound , full and defined)...That Agile sounded well - cheaper! But for that money it may be a best bet in that class, especially if you change pickups! smile.gif) I mean "Guitar assemble kits" cost that much smile.gif

I wonder if in the context of a band mix anyone would be able to tell a difference at all.

Haha, I love his reply to the question, "How's the upper fret access on LPs?", "Nothing is impossible.". laugh.gif

Congrats, man, I've heard good things about these as well. smile.gif I know it's probably just a stupid status thing, but I'd still prefer a Gibson Les Paul, even considering that they are overpriced.

OMG!!! I can't believe the quality of this guitar for what I paid for it! Please check these thing out if you are in the market for an LP (copy), had to add that.

Made in Korea
All maple body, not alder/maple
set neck, and the neck joint is perfect
grover tuners
body and neck binding (the 3000 models have body, neck and headstock triple binding)
flamed maple top (1/16 on this model, the 3000's have 3/4 top)
Rosewood fretboard
graphite nut (3000's have bone nut)

FOR 200.00US NEW!!!!

You can see my camera in the headstock shot if you click on it for a larger view. The finish is amazing and sounds awesome too! Does need a string change so once I have a new set on it, I'll do a complete review for the Wiki.
