I just got my new Alesis M1 Active Mk2 monitors and so I bring you a song I am working on. I leave for the holiday, so this is my work.
This is the best setup I can do right now. Can't really safely make these monitors higher. And don't have room for them to be spread more apart. I read some of the instruction manual. http://soundcloud.com/fireball100/intensity-original-in-progress Jackson SLSMG soloist guitar (baritone wanna-be) Tuned to Drop A with a 68 on the bottom string. POD Farm for guitars Main rhythms use a Tube Screamer, and Big Bottom amp with lots of mids and treb. I use the '4x12 Green 25' for my cab. I did use some compression before the amp. I will add two more guitars with more of a crunch than a gain afterwards. EZdrummer with Drums from Hell expansion pack I used samples and also programmed my own kicks and etc. I used Trilogy Bass Module for the bass. Hope you like, Brandon |

I ended up stuffing black socks into the 4 port holes... That is something that anyone who has small 2 way open/ported monitors should do. If you don't the bass will be over exagerrated and poorly controlled and will also be prone to distortion and have poor and inconsistent timing. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer.
