Add Bt To Live, I need some help in this! Options

Hi guys!
Really need some help on from you.
I'm recording some solo work with Live 7.0.10.
I want to add a backing to the recording to get a nice total.
How can I add it please?
If some of you find a minute, could you please help me??
It's a competition entry (can win a guitar) and deadline is before tomorrow, so tonight is last.

Hmm I'm not sure which recording software you are using. Usually you would need to make new audio track and use file/import media option in the software in order to import the backing track file.

It sounds like you may have waited a bit too long to get started on the contest entry if you are still working out your software. I hope it works out though. I've not used LIVE before, who makes it?
