Hi guys!

This is a demo I recorded yesterday at home.
Only verse, chorus, verse, chorus (with a little temporary solo) at the moment.

The guitars are recorded with my Gibson Les Paul Nashville Jr.
The drums are EZDrummer Nashville kit.
Spectrasonics Trilogy Rock/distorted bass.
Piano is from Nexus and the strings I can't remember laugh.gif

There are no effects whatsoever on this track, have not begun mixing anything yet.

Please tell me what you think so far.
Good or bad, constructive critizism and nice comments are always welcome wink.gif

It started out as a rock song, but as most of the time when I'm writing songs
it gets happier than what was originally intended laugh.gif
So now it's more of a rock/pop song, hence the name
I like happy stuff for some reason, it's so uplifting smile.gif

Anyway, thanks for looking and have a nice day everyone!

That isn't bad at all. I don't tend to like happy songs and none of my bands songs are actually happy but I really quite like this. I think the keys in there may need to be slightly quieter but not by much. You tend to pay more attention to the keys because they are in your face so drop them a tiny bit and you will take notice of what is going on underneath also.

Really happy song smile.gif But I've got to go to work now sad.gif

Yeah, I know the keys are a bit too loud but I haven't begun finalizing anything yet..
But thanks for pointing it out, I won't forget it now laugh.gif

Glad you like it though, one happy song a day keeps the doctor away laugh.gif

It's worth learning, you can get great drumsounds from the different kits in EZDrummer smile.gif
It's not too hard either, just ask if there's something you wanna know smile.gif

I like the power guitar, very good, well played and rockin', that's the style I like. There's only one thing, this song reminds me very much of a Judas Priest's song, "living afer midnight", especially the intro and the verse are pretty similar...

Very nice man! I like it a lot, guitars are very interesting sounding! Also the song is great, try adding the vocal line I'm sure it would be even better with some vocals.
