Well I had that feeling few times before..I find that its all in our mind and depends on our mood when we play...Sometimes guitar would sound and feel better and sometimes it would sound really bad (subjectively in my mind)..Just take a break , watch a cool concert or something...Also if you have that feeling all the time , you may want to try out some new guitars etc to see if you hear them sounding "right"..Sometimes simple strings change should do the trick..

Yeah man, definitely take a break a day or two. This is completely normal, and I also have these moments sometimes, specially after some long and hard sessions. One time I even thought that somebody changed the strings on my guitar, that's how much I lost the feel!

Make a break for sure, but also try to change the players/music you're listening to,
that might give you extra boost as well. -------------------- Youtube
