Plugging Electro-acoustic Into Electric Amp

OK. So I have a Parker P10E electro acoustic and I want to use it for an upcoming gig for 3 songs but wondered if I could plug it like normal into my JCM800 amp or will this sound awful or worse damage my amp or my guitar? I don't want to destroy an $1800 guitar or an 83 JCM800

You want damage the amp but it would sound a lot of better on a acoustic amp, a keyboard amp or even some bass amp, you will need to have some eq at hand.

I think it's probably easier to setup and get a better tone putting the acoustic directly into mixer. My attempts to run acoustic through an amp or POD ended up like that tongue.gif

Some people say the most proper way to use an electro acoustic is using a direct box and then plugging it directly into mixer. I never tried that way though...

DI to mixer is far the best and safest way to do it! smile.gif But going to amp should not damage it but it may not sound that good smile.gif

How about acoustic simulation?

Honestly, I have no experience with this.
