Haha funny man Never enough knowledge man. Keep learning new things always but also feel good about things you already know! This is for me winning formula By the way, what do you consider high quality web cam ? And how much do they go for ? I need to get one for some conferencing and lessons so just wondering what your experience is with it (does it have latency in video and sound etc). Thanks I got a Logitech Quickcam Sphere AF. It cost me £75 ($150) but man is it worth it. It's a really high quality web cam and the best web cam you can get really before you get to camcorders. It's ideal for conferencing but I'm not sure on the quality for lessons but then again I'm not an expert on lighting arrangement which is key to a high quality video also. Here is a link to the system and some information. I highly recommend it though. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/webcam_c...80&cl=gb,en Sounds great ^^ Never give up =) I always feel like giving up. I just need to get better and improve my confidence. -------------------- Gear Guitars:- Caparison Horus Snowcloud, Parker Nitefly M, Parker Nitefly SA, Gibson SG, Parker P10e, 40 Year Old Spanish Acoustic Amps:- Framus Ruby Riot 2x12" stack |

Also what would people say is a step up from this solo in the way of melodic soloing? This is a 2/10 so I'd like a 3 or 4/10 for the next one I try. I want to keep focused on fairly simple melodic solo ideas What about the Solo in D of Muris: link I just love the melody of that one -------------------- "Don't practice until you get it right. Ok so I'm very lazy and I never practice any lessons here at GMC I only ever write songs when I pick up a guitar so I decided to practice this lesson as part of the competition that is currently on for the Beginner challenge. This is by no means perfect and I hope to perfect it before I record video live for the competition entrance. A few points. The guitar pro tab that Carlos gives is different to what he plays and the backing track is longer than what he plays AND the guitar pro file lol so it seems to finish early but I'm positive I do the final run in the correct place. I know my bends are weak which is annoying but here goes. I did my best Any comments off anyone would be awesome Be Gentle [attachment=10420:OC_Melod...lo_in_Gm.mp3] It really sounds great to me man! Good rhythm placement and precise notes. You asked me in PM what you could work on next, I would try the same melody with some extra guitar tricks.. Aproach some of the notes with bends and wider vibrato, that might help your playing. It's really good man, you're on the right track! As you asked here a a few suggestions as far as lesson that might help... They are not in the same style, but incorporating some elements from these lessons in your lead might help and inspire you: my Micro bends lesson Marcus Lavendell Vibrato lesson Muris Lukather lesson for phrasing Hope that helps! -------------------- www.youtube.com/Wallimann

Cheers for the comments David. I really am going to work hard from now on. Less complaining and more doing from me hopefully I will check out those lessons.
