As I can see its straight alternate picking...Try to play it that way.

looks like there are a couple of sweeps but you can do anyway you like. Cool riff btw

The best chorus riff ever IMO:D It just sounds so melodic with rest of the band and singing..
Too bad we mere mortals will never be able to compose this kind of stuff Btw. as I see it, he uses pure alretnate picking with some economy/sweeps put in places, where he plays those sweep licks on top of arpeggios, just before the chord change happens. there are some EP moments in there. But you can play it anyway you like really, as long as the sound and the tempo is right
