Over in THIS topic, Mertay asked a question about my patch that I was using.
Interesting, do share when you get back about the patch I'm curious Here is everything in the chain order with the exception of the noise gate at the beginning. AMP: Brit Plexi NRM (Marshall Super Lead 100 normal channel) Drive 2.8, Bass 4.2, Mid 5.4, Treble 8.2, Presence 8.8, Channel vol 6.0, Master 10.0 Sag, Hum,Ripple, Bias x all at 5.0 and Bias at 6.5. The things in italics are out of the box, apparently, they come set how the amps left the factory as much as is known but they mean nothing to me so I leave them alone. Simple Delay mono (Line 6 Original) Time 6.5ms, Feedback 0%, Mix 100%, Level 0.0 db, Trails OFF Simple Delay stereo (Line 6 Original) Time 543ms, Feedback 35%, Mix 17%, Level 0.0 db, Scale 100% Trails OFF Reverb Hall (Line 6 Original) Decay 3.5, Predelay 10ms, Low & High Cut OFF, Mix 32%, Level 0.0db, Trails OFF I hope this makes sense to you Mertay, a lot of it means nothing to me Cheers Phil This post has been edited by Phil66: Feb 3 2019, 09:26 PM -------------------- SEE MY GMC CERTIFICATE “Success is not obtained overnight. The P-90s are the secret.
If you really want the 50s sound, set your delay for one 1/8 note repeat (mix at about 50% or 60%) and a little spring (or plate) reverb. *A real non mv 'superlead' with it's volume at 3 or below can have a great clean tone (or cleanish tone). The Marshall cleans in most modern software, profilers and modelers actually do a pretty good job of replicating this normally difficult to find tone. -------------------- - Ken Lasaine
