I think it would be cool to add a "tick/check/completed" box to every video-lesson. It feels nice, motivates and gives me something to aim for.

What about the ability to slow down the original video. Sometimes the video slightly differs from tab/ the slowed down example. The original video has a bit more soul in it and it's a nice way to learn. I typically do not rely on the tab yet use it as a starting point and listen to the original. Without gmc I would download it and put it in amazing slow downer program and loop the parts in question.

I like the ability to put markers on the backings. That would be great with the original.

Either way how much easier could you guys make it right?

Interesting suggestions here as well - for now, the slowed down parts are thoroughly explained and filmed - once you get those down, all you need to do is tie them together and play them over a simple click track - that is a great way to see if you understood how the parts connect.

If you can play something ENTIRELY over a metronome click track, you will undoubtedly be able to play it with the backing track
