Hello guys!
I'm Miguel, AKA Tyson, from Portugal. I'm a former GMC user who's coming back, after being some years away.
I'm 51 years old and I started playing a little too late, at 40.
I use mostly 3 guitars: a Fender Strat, a Ibanes RG and a Chapman ML2.
My amp is a Line 6 DT-25 combo with a Line 6 HD500 Pedalboard (they call it the dream rig biggrin.gif)
I'm looking forward to have a wonderful time again in GMC.
Rock on!!!

Tyson

Hi Gabriel!
After some time, I was able to develop a good visual memory of the pentatonic scale in all 5 boxes, and I can improvise over a backingtrack without sounding off scale. I have a fairly good ear and I can sound melodic. But I've reached a phase where I can't progress... I need to enrich my lick vocabulary, develop speed to some faster licks or transitions in between licks (not interested in shredding).
So, if you guys could give me some objective advice I'd be more than grateful.

Thanks!

Guitarists that I consider very melodic and I'd like to imitate:
Marty Friedman; Steve Morse; Steve Lukather; Tony McAlpine; Neil Zaza; Buckethead; etc
Of course, my all time favorite is David Gilmour
