They make some really good plugins and they are very affordable. This plugin y ou mentioned is running $23 just now. Details below. It has a sort of high gain british tube amp vibe. Sort of HiWatt meets Vintage Marshall.
Kuassa Amplifikation Creme $23.80 Year End Sale 30% Off! Kuassa Amplifikation Creme are truly a must-have addition for all Amplifikation One fans. Distinguised by its darker, fuller, and heavier tonal character discovered on High-Gain guitar amplifiers, Kuassa Amplifikation Creme’s three selectable channels can give you a sonic arsenal from sparkling clean tones to searing guitar riffs, able to match the sound quality of high-end tube powered guitar amplifiers. http://sites.fastspring.com/kuassa/product...n=show_contents This GUI looks amazing, and I'm reading some good reviews. I've heard some pretty average patches from every guitar emulator out there. Even one of my favs, "Guitar Rig". It really does often require building good patches. Most of the default patches I've ever touched on any emulator have been largely (though not always) dissapointing. So there's that. The really critical bit is the sound engine underneath.
So far, only the Overloud TH2 plugin has impressed me with it's off the shelf patches. But that's just me. My tone requirements are probably pretty niche though so other folks probably dig some of the various stock presets. Here is a real world example. I wanted a HEAVY METAL CRUNCH type preset and could not find one that I liked. DEMO STOCK VS CUSTOM PATCHES EXAMPLE: (From This coming sat video chat) STOCK PATCH: Ramfire Rig (one of the best ones stock IMHO in guitar rig) CUSTOM PATCH: (Sorry for the file confusion, these are the corrected versions) custom.mp3 ( 462.16K ) Number of downloads: 98 Here is the default Guitar Rig Patch with the UPGRADED: RAMFIRE add on. Stock preset. stock.mp3 ( 461.25K ) Number of downloads: 99 I haven't use it but a friend of mine has one it sounded pretty average to me

I'll try to find this plugin and do a little demo. People seem to praise it, but I'm suspicious because of the price..

I just tried this plugin, and it's no match for big brands like Amplitube 3, Vintage Amp Room, Guitar Rig 5, and ReValver MKIII
