I just got the Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000, and it's quite allright for a webcam. Many GMC:ers use it and are happy with it.
If you do a search for "quickcam" in the forum you'll find some threads speaking about it, some of them containing samples. -------------------- Guitars:

Yeah definitly Logitech quick cam pro 9000 or one above which OC uses!! They are both very good and should do the job well.. (They are able to capture 30fps ??! )..

These logitech models are great, but for a good quality, the cheapest miniDV cam is on a completely different level of picture quality, so if you have a chance to increase the budget a bit - get a miniDV mate.
