That's a great valve amp for rock and blues, ask the guy if the valves are in good condition though, if they need changing it will cost some extra bucks once you get it.

I own one of those too, as most of You may know by now... I must say that since I got it fixed with NOS-tubes and some small adjustments it sounds smashing, I don't really like the Eminence speaker though, but I have a Weber that gonna replace this one in order to get a smoother attack. But thats a personal matter, I think.
Cael is right here, its not very versatile - in itself its just good for blues/rock and maybe some jazz, but on the other hand there is no compromises - hence, it sounds like a Fender amp shall sound, and You will never get that from another brand - unless You are going for a boutiqe hand-made sort of stuff... And I think its fully possible to even play some metal on this one, provided that You put the right pedals in front of it. I had mine in some 15 years by now, and I can't be any happier with it than now. (then of course, I have some other amps for other purposes as well....) //Staffay -------------------- Guitars: Ibanez AM-200, Ibanez GB-10, Fender Stratocaster Classic Player, Warmouth Custom Built, Suhr Classic Strat, Gibson Les Paul Standard 2003, Ibanez steel-string Amps: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, Marshall JMP 2103, AER 60 Effects: BOSS DD-20, Danelectro Trans. It's a great amp, so great I considered buying it because of it's cherry clean. The distortion didn't get too me that much tho, but you may like that kind of overdrive. It's not tight, but it's rich. Put some good tubes that break up soon, and good speakers, and you got yourself a hot rodded Fender that will really serve you nicely.
