What are some good guitar books to learn from for beginners?That should be not some genre based...like metal scales for beginners or rock leads.....but more into generalised way?

All I can say is everything you need is here and one thing books don't give you is feedback. Feedback is essential because you don't always hear your own errors. It takes courage to post a take, believe me I was so shy about doing it, now I don't have any issues with doing it and it pushes your playing along due to a tiny bit of pressure.
