Here is a follow up to this thread, where we discussed some kind of audio player in the forum.
I felt like our needs were a bit too specific to rely on a ready-made third party solution, so I tried to create a custom player. You can check out work in progress here You can see we are able to add rolling credits, but also time based credits/comments/lyrics that appear as the song plays. Preferably I would want to place this player in the forum header, so that it can be accessed from anywhere in the forum. And when the solution is finished, the idea is of course to add many more tracks and song meta data. For the tech savvy: We do have a major obstacle in implementing this one though, since the forum software is old there is a risk the player will reload (music will be interrupted) when you browse around the forum. I am hoping we will be able to find a solution to this. Any feedback is welcome! |

 I also wouldn't mind if when clicked, opens and works in a new tab just like in this topic. Seem's this will be the easiest solution for you (?) |

Yeah, it could be a pop up/out like when you click "show all" in the emoji box.

This is GREAT! Having the player in the header is a very good idea so we can keep listening to it while exploring the forum.
I can feel that a new era with podcasts, livestreams and more collabs is coming at GMC! This is very promising. Can't wait! -------------------- My lessons
