Agreed! Stubby ones are the best! I play with 3 mm, big ones. What a difference in tone!?!?!!!!
Why anyone would spend thousands of dollars on amps and guitars but stick with paper thin picks and miss out on the tremedous tone these stubby picks will give is beyond me More ppl should definaeletetley try them -------------------- My bands homepage

3mm is thin!
... well, when compared to THESE: EDIT: did not expect that picture to need resizing, also those are 11.85mm 'INSANITY' v-picks, also also: I loved big stubby until I tried the small pointed vpick. This post has been edited by jafomatic: Mar 6 2010, 03:35 PM -------------------- ::jafomatic

I prefer something between 1,5 and 2 mm, 3 is definitely too much for my taste.

It's great that you've found your perfect pick! I use 1.14 plastic pick, it feels right, I think 3mm woudl be a killer with strumming, but if you have great sound with it, that's awesome man!

I used jazz III picks for years, and I though I would never change again to another pick, just until I tried the big stubby 2.0 mm.
Man, they feel so right in the hand I don't like the overall feeling of the 3.0 big stubby, but I think I do play faster alternate picking with it. So I keep one with me as well... -------------------- my "Thank you GMC!" video
