Was close to shocked when I read it this morning... one of our times finest vocalists. Soundgarden was one of the band that woke me up in the early 90's to realize there was bands who made real music again (in contrast to the plastic-fantastic 80's).

This one hurts. It's hard to imagine anyone having more talent than Chris. Our world is much poorer today.

This is the first thing I've read as soon as I opened my eyes today. I'm so sad. He is one of my favourite singers and musicians ever.

RIP to the great Chris Cornell.

Vedder wasn't from Washington. He was born in Illinois, moved to SoCal and then eventually went to Seattle.
The rest were all from Washington state. Hmmm ... ?

RIP Chris Cornell.

It's really a shame that he took his own life. Such a great songwriter and singer, it's really sad.
Maybe we can do a collab in his honor soon? What do the instructors think?

IT really is awful and just adds to the already long list of musicians that we have lost recently. I declare a moritorium on DEATH. For the rest of the year, he can't have ANYONE ELSE that plays music. Sorry, I'm cutting him off. Death you are done!! Take a break.
