My first objective is to be able to do it without having to try every chord of the scale. 2.2.- Guitar playing: My rhythm may need some work, and my bendings are always too much or not enough (ear training will improve this, i supose) 3.- Strongest point: I can't think of anything... 4.- Favorite guitar players: Some of my favorite guitarrists are Slash, John Frusciante, Jimmy Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Randy Rhoads. Some of my favorite bands are Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Deep Purple, The Beatles, Credence Clearwater Revival, The Doors, Muse, The Strokes... i don't know, there are so many... I've done this youtube list where you can see some of my favorite songs: Great Rock Songs I'm looking forward to begin my training  Awesome! So here is how we will be doing it  First I will start posting tracks for you and will give you little hints! Every time tracks will get harder and harder! I will help you develop relative pitch so you will be able to transcribe music without any problems! To start I would like to see at what level you are so I am not gonna give you any hints or clues just yet! If i'm not wrong the progression goes this way: I iii ii V x2 I ii iii IV x2 I I think it's in the key of A, so the song would be like this: A C#m Bm E x2 A Bm C#m D x2 A With rhythm: E |--5--5--4--4----|--7-----------7-----------7--------7--7------------||| As text tabs are difficult to understand i've take a picture of the TAB so it's easier to see: Trascription TAB I have used different voicings for the Bm chord because they where easier to use in each case  .

The only mistake you have made is with D it is actually D minor chord! I will prepare a new assignment in a couple of days! Good job! -------------------- |
