Well, it seems that we have to find some friends, that are also good at guitar playing, and use their knowledge for our cause

Ok, a couple of things to add here ... some good points made here Rooks
Firstly, one thing that we have done before and I would like to see more of is posting of videos by members - a simple "am I doing this right" video is a great way to get feedback on whatever it is you are worried about, whether its holding the guitar, picking technique or anything - you will get lots of useful feedback both from instructors and other students if you do this Secondly, we are planning a new series of absolute beginner lessons to start soon, and be assured that everyone of your points will now be covered in that series So, guys, anything else that is puzzling to beginners? Post it here and we'll put it in a lesson! -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

I agree on most points with Rook, and I just wanted to say that I think he said it in a very good way. Not offensive and straight to the point
