It's called untempered tuning.
I would suggest not to use it on gigs with the band,you might get a carrot from the crowd. -------------------- Youtube

Tempered system is one we use most often,12 notes inside one octave.
You tune your guitar 1/4 down/up and you're out of system. Of course,if whole bend is tuned that way it'd be ok, just don't be the only one using this special feature,that's all I'm saying. This post has been edited by Muris: Feb 4 2008, 01:59 AM -------------------- Youtube

i think it will be easy to play but if you back to the standard tune you wont be able to do what you did on 1/2 step down from hard practicing and bending and many techniques

Pantera did this a few times and used 1/4 down, and some songs i think were like 1 and 1/4 down.

I actually heard a blues cd a week ago which as was a quarter step down tuned, man those bends sounded horrible

Haha, I have been thinking about this before. If you record an album, people will use some time figuring out how to play your songs
